M.A.D. was originally imagined as a rejig of the classic 1950’s Cold War film Dr. Strangelove. In the series, we have endeavored to recreate the humorous contexts of brinkmanship between two nuclear powers. We’ve designed the project as a scathing parody of current POTUS Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 presidential election, his nativist political agenda and his manifest corruption.
